Q&A with Expert Judge: Amelia Kallman, Futurist, Speaker, Author, The Big Reveal UK
Q. What practical advice or criteria would you share to help entrants stand out in the awards?
Make a clear and concise argument for why you should win, one that is backed by data and evidence of personal and professional growth. Tell us your story. Human language wins over technical jargon. (Don't take it for granted that the judges are familiar with acronyms specific to your industry!) Don't worry about sounding boastful. This is your moment to shine!
Q. How do awards like these help drive positive change, raise visibility, and support long‑term growth, innovation, and inclusion across the industry?
I always say, "Be the change you want to see." Because you do it, another woman will know that she can do it, too. Your leadership matters.
Q. What excites you most about judging this year’s Women Leaders in Electronics Awards?
What excites me most is getting to recognise and celebrate the years of hard work, training, dedication, and resilience of remarkable women in technology; women who make an impact, who take risks, and haven't given up. You deserve to be celebrated!
