CERC is proud to be six-time champions of the IET FirstLego League (FLL) in Cambridgeshire, with a track record of excellence in various prestigious competitions. Additionally, we are honoured to have been awarded the best STEM initiative of the year by the Cambridge Independent, recognising our commitment to excellence. Through our extensive local, national, and global STEM initiatives, we are working hard to leave a lasting impact on both our students and society as a whole.

With an era of new requirements upon us, such as request fulfilment and incident management, the Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG) aims to promote innovation in the satellite communication industry to improve operational efficiency and reduce impact, saving time and money. As an open forum to generate innovative thinking, it enables the industry to come together and discuss current challenges. This helps manufacturers and service providers to deliver innovations and solutions that respond more precisely to those challenges. Those solutions will then be promoted through SIG channels, including events, website, social media, and in discussions with SIG’s industry network.

The UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF) is an educational charity established in 2010. In the UK, Electronics, especially semiconductor design and manufacture, is a growing and strategically important sector of our economy. However, the demand for capable graduates far outstrips supply.

The UKESF works to tackle the national skills shortage in the Electronics sector in a coherent way; it operates collaboratively with major companies and leading universities. The UKESF also undertakes outreach and engagement activities to ensure that more schoolchildren are aware of Electronics and the opportunities available. This is achieved through a range of education Electronics-focused activities, projects and teacher training.
